Biography
.
Born 1959 in Vienna, Austria
After school graduation besides self taught painting active in several jobs, also in car painting.
1985 first application of the airbrush, which opened new possibilities for his high graphical talent.
1989 participation in the European championship for airbrush and awarded with first price. As acting champion he won the "Golden Airbrush Pistol" also in the years 1990 to 1992. Afterwards no further participation any more.
Having become famous he got increasingly orders for painting vehicles, furniture and walls. Karl Binder decided to have an extended stay in Australia. There he met the painter Charles Billich, who gave him new inspiration.
1995 return to Europe and establishing the "Studio B" in Munich.
Exhibitions in Europe and Australia.

Artist's Statement

The pretensions I have on my kind of art are very simple: Just look at it and like what you see. As I don't know if at least I myself will be pleased at the end, it is always an adventure for me when starting with a new painting. Karl Binder
