AYLA GEDIK Born in Erzurum, 1954. Graduated from Eskisehir Anadolu University. Her art activities began in 1989, attending drawing lessons at Seba Ugurtan’s Studio. As one of the founder members of the Water Group, she has participated in many activities both in Turkey and abroad. Selected Activities: 1996 - 1999 Obje Art Gallery group exhibitions, Izmir / 2004 - Çesme Art Fest Group Exhibition, Izmir / 2004 - Amazon-D Bookstore solo show, Izmir / 2004 - Artists of Izmir Exhibition, State Art and Sculpture Museum / 2005 - Prenses Hotel, solo show, Izmir / 2005 - 1st International Obesity and Concerns Paintings Contest Exhibition / 2005 - Sanliurfa Municipality Exhibition Hall, group exhibition and Balikligöl demonstration works / 2005 - Konak Pier group exhibition, Izmir / 2006 - 2nd International Diabetics and Concerns Paintings Contest Exhibition / 2006 - 1st Denizli Goldencock Festival Exhibition / 2006 - Aegean Artists group exhibition / 2007 - "Come Over, Let’s Get Acquainted", group exhibition, Izmir / 2008 - State Art and Sculpture Museum "Art for Health" group exhibition Ayla’s paintings were published 2007 in the calendar of Biofarma.
