Ayse Nihan Kement
1969 yilinda Ankara’da dogan sanatçi Izmir Türk Koleji mezunudur. 2001 yilindan bu yana resim çalismalarina devam eden Ayse Nihan Kement çok sayida karma sergiye katilmistir. Sanatçinin eseri 2006 Turgut Pura resim yarismasinda sergilenme hakki kazanmistir. Sanatçi eserlerine degisik doku malzemeleri kullanarak boyanin kivamini farklilastirmis, anlatimina degisik tatlar katmistir. Konularini non-figuratif ele almistir. Soyut denemelerin duygulari anlatmada daha güçlü oldugunu savunan sanatçi, bu tür çalismalariyla sanatin evrensel ifade tarzi oldugunu hissettirmistir. Çalismalarina halen Seba Ugurtan atölyesinde devam eden sanatçi Su Grubu üyesidir.

Ayse Nihan Kement was born in Ankara in 1969, is a graduate of Izmir Turkish College. She started her painting works in 2001 and has participated in several exhibitions since then. Her work was selected for exhibition in the 2006 Turgut Pura Art Competition. The artist uses various substances in her work to change the meaning of paint and brings a different flavor to her expression. Her subjects are non-figurative. The artist believes that abstract attempts are stronger in expressing feelings and with these types of works has conveyed the feeling that art is a universal expression type.
