Ceyda Kiraz 1981 yilinda Izmir’de dogdu. 2004 yilinda Gazi Üniversitesi Grafik Ögretmenligi Bölümünden mezun oldu. Daha sonra Seba Sanat Galerisi’nde resim çalismalarina devam etti ve birçok özel sektörde çalisti. 2008 de Seba Sanat Galerisinde yönetici asistanligi görevine basladi ayni atölyede resim ögretmeni olarak görev yapti. 2009 yilinda eserleriyle Floransa Çagdas Sanatlar Bienali’ne katildi. Su grubu kurucu üyelerinden olan kiraz 2011 yilinda Uluslar arasi Izmir Sanat Bienalinde Genel Direktör yardimciligina basladi. Çalismalarina halen Seba sanat galerisinde devam eden kiraz çok sayida karma sergiye katilmistir. Soyut Form arayislari ve kullandigi degisik malzeme ile sanattaki farkli yorumu ve çevreci anlatimi dikkat çekicidir.
Biography
Ceyda Kiraz was born in 1981. In 2004, she graduated from Gazi University, Department of Graphics Education. In the same year, she started to work as an asistant with the artist Seba Ugurtan in Seba Art Gallery. She is one of the founder members of Su Group and she has participated in many exhibitions in Turkey and abroad. She has opened two personal exhibitions so far. Ceyda Kiraz attracted attention by investigating on the cost of the existance and non-existance based on the usabilty - in the cyle of art - of artificial or natural, all materials that exist in the nature. She decorates the expression of her artworks with conceptual interpretations. She combines modern art expressions with mixed media canvas works. The artist continues working in Seba Art Galery.
