Ruth Wyss’ bright coloured and forceful paintings, her abstract acrylic paintings, gouaches and collages are spontaneous messages expressing her joy of life, pictures puzzles of her fantasy - from red over blue to yellow. They speak her own unmistakable language and announce the law of changes, the rhythm of controversy - as between day and night, summer and winter, wakefulness and dreams. These pairs of opposites we find hidden in her abstract paintings for instance as sun and moon, man and woman, bird and fish. Her paintings are free from the negative spirit of our days that in some art exhibits ends in collective punishment.
